Chevy inline & side draft intake

well, thanks for all the great ideas, comments, and opinion everyone...
but after some talkin' with my mechanic (old school guy from detroit, also one of the original "inliners", he suggested that for what i'm building(a daily driver) it wouldn't be worth the h***el or the money.
and his opinions/suggestions have NEVER done me wrong, so i'm gonna stick with the original plan and run a 2x2 offy from langdons.
