Technical Chevy interior door release handles?

I have to replace the door relay and handle on a 54 truck because they are both stripped out. This has the handles with the screw which kept loosening up, necessitating said replacement. Can I use the p***enger car door release handle with the clips instead??

 

Don’t think so. Get you some correct length set screws with an Allen head. A 1/4 inch socket with the correct Allen on an extension should allow you to put good torque on the set screw. My opinion

 

those use a setscrew to tighten the handle, then another screw to lock the set screw in place.
