I'll play with a bit more today and take pics. Can anyone confirm the GM/Delco Remy part number 1110292 as correct for 153/181?

 

Yes that is correct for a 153/181 as they take the same distributor. Listed use from 1962-1970 automotive applications.

As soon as I saw your post a bit ago, I knew that was it. Took me less than 5 minutes to get it. It was late yesterday and I'd forgotten to orient the oil pump shaft to the tang on the dist..

We're did the header come from ?
Custom or is it avaliable in Australia??

 

@red roadster, tell use more about your engine! Where did the intake system come from, home made? Did you make the header? Is that a magneto over there?

 

I made the neck so it has a thermo stat in it. Also there are 3 temp senders in it for efi, fan and gage. Stock head which has injectors in head (mpi)
