chevy parts interchange?'s

i have a broken lower power steering bracket on a 62 impala ss. Will other years and style fit in place or do i need to find a year specific part?

 

many other years will fit. probaly all the way until 1970 impala's. i would find a good welder and have him weld it up. then grind the weld down smooth and paint it. steve pastorino

 

if it's the one I'm thinking it is, it fits 62-63 only. They made a lot of changes thru the years, some folks don't realize it.

I agree with the welding recommendation.
