I have always been into cool cars, at least the customizing end of it but I have never completely rebuilt my own engine.I now plan to attempt that.I plan to build one of 2 engines that I have. One is a 67 chevy 283 and the other a 71 chevy 350. for my model a coupe.I would prefer the bigger cubes of the 350 but I like the vintage look of the 283. My question is,can I build the 350 without the unsightly look of pcv coming out the valve covers?Ialso have an older edelbrock 3 deuce intake with oil breather filler tube that I plan to install.

If you put 1 push in style breather in each valve cover and a breather in the filler tube you will have adequate ventilation. Don't use just the one on the filler tube. Also, I think you would get better response on this thread if you were to put in the general discussion and not the introduction forum. Hope this helps, Chuck.

99% of people in this world can't tell a 350 from a 283 or an aftermarket 454 stroker small block just by looking. do whatever gets you going.

motors with that breather tube usually had road draft tubes as well. do a search for hidden pcv
