I bought a remote fill master cylinder from mp brakes and it leaks! The area that is in the red box appears to JUST push down in and is sealed with an o ring...I didn't get clamp or anything that I know of to hold it down...and it leaks... I am sure I must of not been shipped something. I am calling MP brakes on monday but thought I would ask here before hand to see if anybody else has had this problem or what part i am missing... thanks in advance too!
No hold down for that, just the O ring. I have never had any trouble with them leaking. Is the master cylinder new too?
yeah it is all new... i still have all the paper work...I hope they take it back...I bought it from them around 6 months ago...just now put it in though. with just the o ring holding it down...man that does not seem to be the safest thing considering all that gets bounced around under the car while you are driving...
