I built a 41 Chevy fender less hot rod for my buddy and he wanted the stock front end because it was all rebuilt. I used a kit from RPM to use hairpins and cross spring. Not sure what to set front axle angle for a Chevy. Any help appreciated! Thanks

Well if you used a Ford style cross spring and axle you rather made a Ford out of it didn't you ? I think most guys are going between 5 and 8 degrees with that setup and on that one 5 probably would be good.

and make sure the tires you are going to run are on the car and you have it sitting on the ground when you measure the angle..........

    Hey, Cody,

All Chevy beam axels have a kingpin inclination of approx. 7 degrees, while the early IFS spindles are approx. 4 degrees.

Check out the R&C tech article by Pat Ganahl posted on www.droppedaxles.com
