Can anyone tell me if a chevy T-5 from a 2.5 S-10 will bolt up to a chevy 292 inline 6 bell housing?I don't have a T-5 to measure to check before I buy one. Thanks

Pre '93 S-10 5 speeds have same bolt pattern as most other GM tranny's should bolt on no problems. Check all the great T5 articles in the tech archive. TONS of info.......................

If it has the normal Chevy bolt pattern, and the center hole on the bellhousing is the typical 4 11/16", then yes, with slight modifications to the length on the input shaft and collar, and run a 1/2" drill bit through the bolt holes on the tranny. Different clutch disc is needed also. Make sure you have the correct speedo setup as electric and cable drives are not interchangeable on S10 versions.
