Fellas, a few months ago Night Prowlers announced they were releasing some really bitchin' looking hubcaps.
I contacted them to order a set of 16"s for my Shoebox, but they've come into some manufacturing issues
with their partner. Maybe the partner doesn't see the demand for them?

TAKE A MOMENT TO HELP A MOM AND POP BUSINESS...

If this is something you guys would like to see put into production please contact Night Prowlers at any of the following:
    • sales@kustomcarparts.com
    • http://kustomcarparts.com/contact-kcp/ (bottom of page)
    • Just post to this thread and I'll send them a link.

Make sure they understand we need them in 14" 15" AND 16" diameters! (Especially 16" cuz that's what I need!)

Nice folks and they have a good reputation among HAMB members.

    Thanks Eric!

The story on these caps is that due to the slowdown in business we had to delay production, but we can hand make a set of these caps for you with whatever bullet you want in the center for around $240.00 a set with the VooDoo Larry Endorsement and around $190 without. With any luck, if things pick up we can go into production with them at some point and the price will certainly come down.

Give us a call if we can help. 855-776-9537

Thanks for all the support gang!

I am on this like Oprah on cake, the only question is HatGuy, can they be made for 16" ford rims? and can we mix and match for those of us who want the option of rolling with or without skirts?

  7. Daddio, Can you post up a pic of them on your Shoebox when you get them?

No offense, but these are just existing caps with chrome bullets or Pontiac stars attached. The reason there's no 16" is because those caps aren't currently made in 16".

No offence taken. I'm willing to provide a fellow HAMBer with a profit for a unique (to me) idea. I don't imagine there's a lot if profit in it for the asking price.

I rather like the one with the short fat bullet. 195 isn't bad for a set when you consider what's available as custom wheels at the local tire shop. I think a set of those white spoke trailer looking wheels are running about 350 for four now.

Got the call a few days ago... no 16's fellas, but I wish Night Prowlers luck in their future endeavors.

Now, does anyone have a set of 16" caps for my shoebox?

  21. If you don't have any luck let me know who it is and I can call also.:D

  22. I think I'm going to go with either Lancer's or Fiesta's.
Lancer's are a little pricey, but there pretty sweet.
Was going to go with bullet centers and lugs, but no bullets available for my steelies.

Are Lancers or Fiestas available in 16"? I haven't found any yet.

I finally heard back from the guy and he's currently sold out. He expects to have stock again in September, so we'll see. I'm under the impression that they're not going to fit my shoebox wheels but haven't gotten an answer yet. My wheels have a 10 1/4" circle that the caps snap to.

    Here's where I found them: https://www.facebook.com/JacsHollywoodFlippers

His number is on a few of the posts if you want to contact him.

  24. My bad, Mine are 15" I had a couple of 16's that were bent pretty bad, gave them to my brother. I'm sure he made them into something.:D
I don't think 16's would work well on mine as the rear is pretty low.
I dread getting a flat 15's as well lol!
I don't have a face book, does Jacs have a web site?

    Thanks daddio

No website that I know of, but you should be able to click that link and see the page without an account.

The size of the wheel makes no difference in overall tire size, its the tire that determines the difference. A properly sized 16" tire is the same diameter as its 15" counterpart.

When Ford put 16" wheels on their '49 and a few on the '50 the wheel diameter was larger, but the sidewall was shorter. A 16" wheel didn't mean that the tire was also an inch taller. Most 50's and 51's got the 15" wheels with a taller sidewall.

    UPDATE-UPDATE-UPDATE

    Hello All,

Well, lots of excuses but none that justify anything really. We delayed production on the Chicago Flippers.

You can get a set in 15" with any size bullet you want...have to fit the bullets by hand...but we have done several sets and they turn out fine. Just takes an extra day to get them. They are not in the catalog or online, so just call us - 855-776-9537.

We are sending prototypes off next week with 4 different size bullets. Also asking for a 16" version. Process takes about 4 to 5 months if approved.

Sorry for the poor follow-up too!

    Best, Ron & Jill
