I will, we are talking to a guy who bought it in 1980 and has been sitting in his garage, Stokes and I looked at it in thefall of 79 they had a small block chevy and a dana rearend in it,they cut up the frame in it for what reason Stokes could not understand, but it needed quater's and the fiberglass front end was cracked bad.
I hope this guy is for real and not bs but we will see!!!

I will talk to my brother this week and try and get the guys name that has the GTO. It was my understanding that it was the same guy he sold it to years ago. I could be wrong.I'd like to see it too.
We also had a blue 55 Chevy Mr.Tuff it is supposed to be in the Chicago area, any of you know anything about it?

I didn't get to talk with my brother about where in Texas the GTO is. I'm sorry to here about John Marinan passing. I will be sure to see if my brother still has the contact info on the guy with the car.

  13. Cool pics, ProEnfo! AWB, Torqueflite and injection make a nice package. Assume with the AWB he wasn't able to stay in B/G. Did it run B or C/A?

Dick sold the 55 I think it was 1967 or so, he bought the 66 GTO Don Gay's old car after that.
The guy who bought it let it sit in a garage what class he ran it in I never found out

I talked with my brother who owned the Blue Bandit GTO in the early 70's. I asked how he got it . He traded the Mr. Tuff 55 Chevy C/G for it . He traded with a guy named Ronnie Nossier from Chicago. The sick thing is he sold the GTO as a roller for $850 to pay his taxes. We are looking for the 55 it is supposed to be in the Chicago area. There is a pic of it on page 2

I actually talked with the guys brother today that owns the Blue Bandit GTO funny car, it is in a garage in Texas, the guy won't allow anyone to see it, but his brother said the guy is getting ready to retire and is going to restore it and nostagia race it . he said it is exactly the way it was when his brother bought it from mine but it was weathered. He said he was going down there in a few weeks and would see if he could get me a picture of it . His brother really knows nothing of the history of the car other than he had talked to Don Gay at 1 time. I told him Dick Stokes was still alive and would like to see it,that he could probably be of great help in the history of the car. So I'm still trying to get info on the GTO and I told the guy how to get on this sight so maybe he will show up on here.
