Its been 13 days since the remains of an old 32 sedan were draged into the cave for a lil love and attention. I took this thing on as a personal challenge. take only parts that were in the shop or shop yard and in 2 weeks try to build a respectable period car. I did not intend for it to get finished in this short amount of time. Rather to ***emble it as far as possible and provide a good basis for a nice rod. Here is the story in a few pics. i hope you all enjoy this as much as I did building it. Jim
Outstanding, Jim. Now aren't you ashamed of yourself for having all those parts laying around the shop so you could build a car in 2 weeks?!? When will she run?
Wow, I'm truly amazed by 1.What you achieved in 13 days 2. That you had that much stuff lying around :O You sir are truelly skilled.
Hmmm...I might be able to afford that car. S**** parts, 13 days...whatcha want for it? By the way...it looks awesome. You've definitely got skills well above the average.
Dang Jim.....the stance is bang on.....simply wicked.....and it's got the right engine......yummy.......
I am humbled by your ability!! Nothing short of impossible, thanx for sharing your p***ion with us, Coolsville fosho!!!-Sololobo/Roadburners of Omaha
Thanks for all of the compliments. This car will be going to the auction block as is. I just cant afford it. I did the part I am good at and now its off to let someone else have a time with it. A few hambers have emailed me, asking if I want to sell it. I do, shoot me a pm with an offer, because its goin to the blocks this evening. jim
Yeah, now I have another hero! Takes me 2 weeks to detail my wifes daily driver. (but hey! I use 2 coats of wax!)
JUst seen it, I will be watching it, great work. Lets see some close up of the rear body area, where the floor attaches Rusty
looks killer. i like how you have your grille shell/headlights mounted, i did something like that on a buddys 27 roadster with a 32 shell, two bars that go up to where the original headlight wires came out on a 32, then i bolted the headlights onto those bars, with the grille clamped in between. good work jeff
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You need your own TV show. Lots of guys could benefit from watching you work. No drama, just fast, focused, awesome work. Maybe start by selling a few DVDs of your projects.
Dear God, Maybe there is still hope for my project. Im kinda ashamed I have more to start with, and have made no where near that progress. Looking sharp!!
