Did the rough body work and put it in flat grey paint today. The ch***is is next. I got a redram hemi for it, and Im using some real 32 rails.
Jim that thing is SWEEEETTTT!!!!! you are truely blessed with talent, I guess the guys will really have something to see when they are over there on the 9th!! I have always wanted a sedan with a hemi, can't wait to see yours when it's done!! Blake
I wanna try that...anybody got 3 lbs of real 32 ford layin around???Looks like thats about all Jim started with! nice work!
Man if I only had those skills!! Over time I hope to learn the skills needed to do work as good as yours!
I would like to see the size of the can opener that went to work on that door...I mean, come on- how exactly does that happen?? AWESOME WORK!!!!
That is great Jim! I had to show my wife this thread. You know, I tore the interior out of my Ranchero this weekend and the floor are rotted and need replacing - and that about overwhelmed me! Great job! Mike
You are my hero.........Im going to go outside and blow my stuff up now. ROB Oh yeah i saw your tube frame Chevy in OSR. Very cool.
I have said it before but I will say it again: You've got the talent. And let me say this: I have seen SEVERAL projects and several metalmen with RUSTY projects, but damn you keep amazing me over and over again. And I know what I am talking about. Respect. --mika
I have looked at these photos a few times now, and I'm still amazed. Thankyou, for saving another precious one. this deserves 5 stars.
In the words of a commerical I get a kick out of,... "what they do, send me a gall-dang Hudini?" Good stuff there Jim,..............
Seriously, I have seen more and straighter metal on a roll of aluminum foil. That should be filed under "miracle" somewhere. Next thing you know, he'll be telling us that he found the hemi at the bottom of a lake, pulled the plugs, oiled the cylinders, and the SOB fired right up ! That is awesome work. It usually takes me longer than that to find the wrench I'm looking for.
There are very few who would have taken that on...and what you've done in a few days is incredible. Keep us posted on progress...
Im just glad it wasnt a logger that found it. they tend to run them over with the dozer and leave them dead in the woods.
WOW, from an aspiring fabricator to a true sheetmetal miracle worker....Great Job. Maybe one day I can make a post like this one.
amazing work, now i know my sedan can be put back together, its in better shape than yours was! thanks
Jim, you are truly the savior of the old car hobby. Amazing metal work and perserverence, as always. I'm always looking forward to every post you make here on the H.A.M.B. Bart
