See one in person in your own home town at **** Rodwell's place. He builds them at his shop in SLC.

Thanks for the kind words, and no penance is necessary. That's why they make more than one flavor of ice cream. My reasons for the tank (yes there are a couple) are: one, being very influenced by early to mid-sixties hot rods, including drag cars, I've always felt that they added a bit of that flavor to an early Ford. I admit that they're out of place on some cars. I hope that they're effective on mine. In this iteration we kept several distinguishing elements from the last, lost roadster. One of them is the Moon tank, though it shrunk in size, just as our appendix has through evolution, I kept it both as a design element and to serve a functional purpose. It actually serves as the radiator overflow tank. When we considered other options for the puke tank, we ended up with this solution. Others didn't fill the bill as nicely as this one. And Chico at Mooneyes was enthusiastic about building this "one off" for me.
If you're interested, you can see tons of build pix on the Hot Rods & Custom Stuff website, under "Projects" at: www.hotrodscustomstuff.com/projects

Yes, from the Sheraton Hotel parking lot at the LA County Fairplex while attending the 2011 GNRS. Watch for the coming out party at the 2013 GNRS.
