I like what he said about wanting it clean. I see too many cars at local events with the hoods open and horridly greasy engine compartments on display. His clean up job didn't cost all that much depending on how much WD 40 and blue paper towels he used in the engine compartment but it sure turned something grungy into something that looked pretty decent.
There are some lessons to follow in that video along with a nifty car.

Looks fine with a good cleaning and aligned rear bumper. Bob

  6. Is that regular WD-40 he’s using? That’s quite a transformation on the firewall.

  7. Awesome video but I had to laugh about him not wanting to wash off the grime because of environmental concerns I guess?

Man I’ve been hosing off grease and grime in the driveway my whole life and never thought twice about it.

I’m surprised in California they don’t need to catch the drips of WD40 and recycle those.

I keep wondering if this is the same '32 Tudor that Dave Allen was selling at the Rhinebeck, New York Swap Meet about 20 years ago? Has Chip backtracked the cars history?

The first video of car on You Tube has some history of the car.

  11. The video said it came from the Pittsburg area originally, if I remember correctly

The car came from Pete Van Iderstine . Orig from New Jersey.

  13. Yes, New Jersey. Don’t know why I said Pittsburgh.
