Man....if I only had a tenth of the talent Foose has. I love that car. I hate that grill. But I love that car.

So many details. How long before someone grabs that wrap around windshield idea and runs with it? I've been considering a Hallock for mine but man I wonder now.....

Good luck getting an answer... if you notice in the first post of this thread I asked if anybody has the link to the rest of the article and so far no luck.

Like everyone else , I think the "spinner" ****s. The interior on the other hand is sweet even that authentic Chromate Green they used on aircraft interiors in the day.

I will just quote my 6 year old boy when he saw the cover of this Street Rodder just about an hour ago.

"That's a really cool hot rod, I just don't like that thing in the front"

I think the whole warbird and hot rod connection is getting a little ridiculous.

Man... This poor guy just asked what time it was and everybody's brothers uncle is telling him their opinion on how to build a flippin' watch.

Sorry dude. I too was interested in the rest of the article and have not been able to find it on line. I'll try to send a message to them through my account and let you know what I find out.

To have a nose cone or not to have a nose cone. I'm sure glad world peace isn't this complicated.

The cone on the nose is like pasties on a stripper, your just not able to enjoy the show the way you would like.

Just thought I'd check in to see if you guys were still *****ing about the nose cone..... you are.

As long as I'm here though - I-ball, you're a dumb***. I'd like to see you vs. Foose, with no additional help, with the same tools & equipment, in a build-off.... for however long YOU needed (because Foose would be ahead of you no matter what the time frame).

My $$ says you'd get your dumb *** spanked.

Harrison ... : The nose-cone is UGLY ... The Zephyr dash is WAAY cool ! .. The steering set-up , Well , that idea is not new to me , but I sure can appreciate the efforts made to make it work well ..
Chips-dezigns has a BIG star in my book , But the cone on that roadster ..... Nope , It ain`t right! .. It`s as lame as putting a `56 Buick bumper up front on a `49 Merc Kustom.... : Different : YES!! .. COOL ? ...: NEI , No, Nope ...

I checked out the ENTIRE interview (it's at least twice the size of the one in the mag), and he explains a lot about the car. And apparently he didn't build it for some of you guys, he built it for him. What a concept! More power to him--he's showing us things we never dreamed of.

    Quote from the Foose interview.

"So I wanted to go back to the roots of hot rodding and, with the rat rods being so popular, I wanted to build my own rat rod. But I wanted to build it with a theme and I wanted to build it safe."

Thats a ratrod:confused: Most expensive ever!!

  16. I love every square inch of that car . Really innovative , well executed . Of course I'm a Studebaker guy and one of my favorite past cars was my Bullet Nose 2 door

He's been dreaming of this car since he was a kid. Here is a childhood photo of Chip dreamin of the P-32 being real someday:D

He should have just done a track T though and the nose cone wouldn't have looked so out of place. The only reason the cone looks out of place is because we are so used to original 32 grills.
