swaps are getting tougher to find things at, but I did drive 2 hrs and 15 min to get there.... I have bought some great stuff there over the years. a few I remember are a NOS pair of finned offy valve covers for a 331-390 caddy for 50 bucks and another was a frankenstein magneto for a chevy for a hundred bucks!!

Thats cool, it was my Wifes bday yesterday otherwise I would have been there. I've been saving up for the Roadsters swap closer to you. I always do well there.

  6. Thanks for posting. I have terrible luck with swap meets. Either I don’t hear about them and miss them, or I show up and it’s mostly flea market garbage. So I end up paying too much online.

I have been wanting to go to the swap in Chickasha Ok for years and people keep talking me out of it. Is it worth a 12 hour drive for me to go???

What!!! None other than MR LEE PETTY himself said he'd rather race without tires than without VX-6! But what does he know. ;)

I am kind of a sucker for really cheap normal useful stuff at swap meets, 2 years ago at the same event I bought a pile of gutter covers, just enough to do my whole house for 7 bucks.....

  10. I don’t know, I just moved here to Oklahoma a week ago. I’ll go and let ya know.
