image.jpeg For some reason I am having a hard time finding a choke cable like the one that can with the car. I have a picture here of the two. The new one does not have the right parts so the choke bezel slips all the way threw. I guess I could go get some washers and fix the problem but I like the way the original one looks. Anyone else have this problem?

The person before me cut it too short and it looks horrible. I wanted to take it out and re route the new one to make it look better

Mine has never felt as free as i'd like, and I've been wanting to take it off, lube or eventually replace it. Always wanted to get to it but I've been postponing it since the dash spot is not at hand i.e., I'm lazy about it.
Anyway, oe looks better than the new one, sturdier I meen.

What I wound up doing on my 55 was to get a used fresh air left side cable ***embly off of eBay and using the knob and guts in the old choke cable sheath. I don't know if 56 had a fresh air knob/cable like the 55.
