dB Zac, The photo's are very cool. It's cool to see someone take on such a big project, take there time and do some great work. I took a '41 Ford convertible from basket case to a Top 100 in R&C, so I know what your going through. Can't wait to see the finished ride. CRUISER
well i stabbed the power plant in and primered the top half. i did som more finish work on the suspention. i'll try to post pic's as soon as my computer is fixed
I think I know what choppeimpala is asking. The sedan delivery takes the same windshield as a sedan car and the factory impala is 2-2 1/2" shorter from the factory. Is this correct what I am saying? There is a guy here in houston did basically the same thing with a 59 el camino and used the hardtop doors also. It looks really good. You are doing a great job. Takse alot of cods to take a project like this on.
sorry it took so long to post an update but I havent had a working computer LOL. heres some new pics heres the small power plant
great fab work. I freaking love this project. That is one beefy watts linkage. Why don't more people use those?
wow, lots of good pics. never seen a rear end slammed/fabbed like that. stance is perfect, keep up the good work.
Can you explain the rear end, I've never seen that set up before, what are the benefits, Yes I'm fairly new to this game.
the cool thing about a watts link is, the rear end doesn't shift from side to side as it goes up and down in the usable range. as the rear end moves up and down the too bars pull and push the center link equally.
well I didn't get a lot done this weekend but I did finally get my shifter so I decided to finish the trany tunnel I mounted my master and booster too
