No chop..... You can always go back and chop it at a later date. Get it one the road first!

  2. 3" chop. Keep it up on the rails. Hi-Boy 5 windows are it. That's my opinion, but you do it your way. It'll be great no matter what you do to it. I'ts a hot rod!!!!

I'm thinkin' add about 12 inches to the roof...Phone Booth style..

I vote chop (not much 2-3") no channel...or go 1" and leave 'em scratchin' their heads.

  4. Negating the physical size of the owner/driver.....

....definite channel, then probably a little off the top!

  9. I like the "resto-rods". Leave the body stock (maybe even paint it stock colors) and upgrade the drive train. To me an upgraded drive train is a later flat head or hopped up Model B but go farther if you like. I think you will find the stock height more comfortable.

I`m all for chopping and channeling it !
I went 3 1/2 on my top but I wish I took another 1/2 out of the front
and channel it 6'' and raise the wheel wells up 3"or 4" and cut 2" off the top of the frame behind the firewall to drop the floor down so ya don`t loose as much space :) there's way too many stock ones out there
then Id run over Edsel ford the thirds cat just for fun :D

What style is it going to be built in? That will answer your question.

    Leave it stock.

You can make it look just like a glass car if you chop it. No guess if glass or steel if it is tall. Prettier stock also.

I agree. Everyone and their dog chops these. The original roof height looks good. I'd be on the fence though about channeling it. I like the channeled height as much as I do the original ride height on these.
But since you're on the fence as well about which way to go, you may just wanna wait and just look at it for a couple of months before doing anything.
Think of it like a tattoo. The snap decisions are the ones we usually rethink later.
