Damn, I can't wait to have the same problem. The look of an unchopped 32 is really growing on me. But I'd never be happy without a heavy wack in mine, thats if I ever get one. Kinda sacred to me though, I'd stash it away and look for another thats already seen the scalpel...

    chop no channel

  5. have you made your mind up yet or is all this feedback screwin with your head? my opinion would be of a 4 inch chop and a few inches chanel but im only 5,7 and would fit it well. also ive a thing for "the more radical, the better"! good luck with YOUR decision.

Why don't you build up the car more first, ie, get it running etc. and then decide.

Keep the body stock, pie cut the (aftermarket) chassis forward of the firewall (this will give a slightly raked/chopped early 60's look). I seem to recall a metallic lilac B hiboy coupe (multi carb chromed to the hilt SBC/ 4 speed/ reverse chromies & whitewalls) which was featured in Rodder's Digest some years ago with this mod which looked tasty. Before chopping any ve-hicle think about the sit, fit, shoes & sox. Try it & mock the sucker up.

My two cents; I didn't chop my "A" delivery, now, 15 years later, I wish I had but don't have the balls to go back and do it!!! So I'd say, a chop makes it a real HOT ROD.:D

I say put a 6" lift on it and then chop it 4" and section 2" then channel it 1 1/2".
Don't forget to roll some 22's on it and chrome everything....

(seriously it's your car, do what you want...)

I doubt your actually going to go through and count all the chop/no chop or channel/no channel votes, but I'm going to throw in my vote of leave it as it is, the way old Henry meant it to be.
