My guess Dave would be 6.5 inches on the second one. The first one is bad ass for sure. Regarding the chop. Go ahead and chop it if you want it to look like every other piece of tupperware thats out there today. When it's chopped sometimes its difficult to tell if the car is glass or steel. No chop lets the masses know right away it's the real deal. I say don't chop it for now. 8-10 years from now when you get bored with the car you can chop it and make it a nice makeover.
I'm 5'9 and I fit perfectly in this rig. This is my vote. Nope, that's not my rig, it's my buddys, but that's me smilin' eartaear........
I'd go with a "Big Al" chop... Or maybe a chop and channel... Or how about chopped, channeled, and sectioned... Or a straight out section, no chop...
My vote... channel the heck out of it and raise it 3 inches!!! (no one ever makes 'em taller! - Be Different!)
First off no channel. I'd dare say there are hundreds (maybe thousands) of junk bodies that have been made that way because someone decided to channel them. Channeling is not for the faint of heart or those of little or no talent. If you channel a car have someone who has sucessfully done one and you can see the results. So, for me, no channel on a '32 5w. Now, as far as chopping goes, I'm there. If your keeping the fenders a 2" chop and slammed suspension is cool. If your ditching the fenders then a 3 1/2"-4" chop is just right. Frank
im all about just leaving it along, mod the frame to get a killer stance though... can anyone tell if this car has had anything done to it? hands down one of my favorite rides
You bought it for a reason... You and only you know what that reason was... If it was cut, channelled or sectioned... make up your mind. You're going to have to either drive it or leave it in the stall.. Cut it the way you envisioned,f&(^ everyone else... After that I'd drive it like I stole it... Mike www.Customikes.com
