damn nice car to chop, but what else was it gonna do, i wouldn`t of cut it, but i`m just jealous cause mine isn`t even in the same ballpark, mine started as a total mess from layin in a river bed in mexico for 40 years.....looks good man......keep it up...never mind, i would chopped that **** up tooo!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya'll done good. Fact is, they just look a whole lot better chopped. And I suspect our Kiwi friend oil'n'rust simply meant that he liked the chop. I'm an old timer and I got a chuckle out of it.
Hearded there be a live chopping of a low mileage A Coupe at The Silver City Smackdown in June 2011 Meridan Ct
If it wasn't 4 us "old timers" savin this stuff, u young ****s wudn't have nuttin 2 play with sept ur ****s!!
we do not need to preserve every model A, chop, cut, hot rod, stop when we are down to one good example of each. [to do***ent what they started out as]
Be sure to keep the left-over pieces. You can sell them as an "unchopping kit" for somebody attempting to make a hod rod out of a overchopped and butchered rat rod.
Looks great. I'd have thought long and hard before chopping but only because I love the look of a full fendered SLAMMED tall top model A coupe. "Alchemy" here on the board has a great example of a 28-29 that's low as hell with the top left as-is....it also looks great. That said, I like it.
The owner of this A-bone has an unchopped 32 5-window as a summertime daily driver, care to guess what`s next on the choppin block?
Love it! mines comming down an inch or four too....just working up the nerve and knowledge so I don't fuc# it up.
