Upon searching site I see recommended companies and people are back 10 years are so . I am not sure what there is out that chop tops in these these days
Backyard guy can give you a good deal...professional shop has overhead and the rest of crazy expenses being in business today costs ...if you decide to have it done the glass alone will cost you over 2000.00 with new weatherstripping and rubber etc...around 5-6,000.00 low range
A fancy website doesn't necessarily mean they do good work, but if you look closely at all the pictures on their site, you can get a good idea of the high level of cleanliness and organization of the shop. That doesn't guarantee quality work either, but it is a pretty good sign. It definitely looks like those guys have their shit together. -Abone.
Thanks for chiming in about stuff you don't know. I know the owner. They also have a YouTube channel where you can see their work in progress, so less likely for there to be any hidden stuff when you can follow from A to Z.
You might contact Don's Fabrication in Dade City. He bought my last deuce pickup and has been doing hot rods for many years. I don't think he does chop work but may be able to steer you in the right direction.
