I am tearing own my 53 Chevy 2 door post to chop it. The Chop is going down in 2 weeks and being done by Gene Winfield.

I am removing all the windows and I am wondering.. Should I save the vent windows and chop them as well?

I may be wrong but I don't think you can do one piece gl*** because of the hinge pocket. Plus the one piece gl*** doesnt look as good unless your building a high tech car,the vent window makes the chop look lower by shortening up the window opening.

Hell yes! ....and none of that shortening em up ****. The stick stays in the stock location and the beautifully reworked stainless will glisten as those ****ers open for fresh air! LOL

It kinda wasn't. I was feeling like I wanted to chop them but I guess I needed a little pushing.

yea you should keep the vent windows

  15. Im pretty sure daddyo is right...my 54 choptop was lacking gl*** when i bought it. So I looked at one piece gl***, don't know how itd work because the door turns in where the vent window is located. Like the majority says chop the vent...and if you don't ill buy em from you, i need some :)
