HOLY CRAP....I opened this thread expecting to see something I wouldnt like, and I dont like it, I friggin LOVE it. Man that thing is cut and slammed, but boy does it look neat.
how can you tell? ratface, how's v-town?...is the roach coach still down by the exhaust shop on Sonoma blvd?...
but of course it is my fur biscuit friend. V-town, well still full of AA's crackheads and fatherless halfbreed babies, ya know.
Dude, that's one sick truck......I love it! Can only imagine how bitchin' it will look with a slick paint job. How bout' a candy green scallop job?? My buddy in college had a stock one of these, back around 83'. They look good no matter what, front ends are too much! JT
WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT everybody, the aussie is right! That truck has been altered with photoshop, I'll admit.... soo..... this is what my truck really looks like.....
I would drive that anyday.....well if I fit in it cause im 6'3" not good with chops like that! you might have to get me out with a shoe horn and some butter, but it looks like its worth the pain! looks sweet!
Save the first photo to your comp and zoom in to the wheels and look at the reflections on them. Also you can see the 'line' through the roof front to back where it was "chopped" Good job with photoshop though, I still havn't mastered microsoft paint
And to add to that, half the mirror is missing in the first pic, right where it was photo'chopped'.. and in the second pic, the A pillar appears to have a 'chop' line going through it towards the top, before the curve of the vent window.. it really does look cool as hell though..and you have way more pc skill's that i have thats for sure.
Nice one, now that's what I call a photoshop job. Photoshop Tip #1 When you photoshop something, you need to add natural shadows. Wheels sitting deep inside wheel arches tend to have a shadow, from the arches, yours don't. Photoshop Tip #2 The tree looks like it suddenly grows at 45º just above your roofline. try following the natural flow of the tree trunk. Photoshop Tip #3 Soften the edges of your photoshop by using the blur tool on your mask, say about 0.5px. This will soften the edge to make it look more real. The chop i aint got a problem with (kinda- there is a strange join on the back of the cab...hard to tell at this size and the top half of your mirror is missing) but buddy, if the slam aint photoshop it must be some kind of magical vallejo ratface camera you got there..... saying all that there's a bit to like about this truck, i mean bit of artwork
ok, that is a really good break down, i see the mirror and the shadow issue, so how about the 2nd photo? anyways i have to be at a jobsite in Berkeley on Wednesday for final inspection, so i will be swinging by to take a look at it. also need to get some v-town roach coach action, how 'bout lunch ratface? cause that truck looks damn mean!!! i like.
With that much blur and motion blur added to the photo, plus the fact it's extremely dark ANYTHING is possible.... i still aint convinced it's the real deal - convince me ratface
I dig the shit out of it! I have a '58 as well and would never chop it, but to each his own. I love anything thats been done way past sane. As for photochop or not???? The windshield has an odd reflection line on it. I don't see the mirrow issue that everyone else sees, looks like its all there on my monitor. The only real jumpout odd part it the rear fender, rear wheel, ground area. Bring it with some more picks. Or as they say in Missouri "Show ME"
I'm going to disturb the waters here, I must say, that's a freakin' nasty-chop, if you do chop it, but, I can't say I like it completely... It seems just to low for me, it kind-of makes me think of those "mega-machines" or whatever they're called, slammed car/ truck with a massive motor and supercharger and blower sticking out the hood... hmmmmm... maybe this could be something you coudl park next to the "pink freak" if you drop a nasty motor in it??? the only way that I can totally like it is if you drop an insanely big motor in it sticking way out the hood... ya' know... hot-wheels style... but, hey, it's your truck, you do what you want with it... I'll shut-up now... ~Troy.
I opened it in PSCS and zoomed in to look at the pixels -- normally there is mismatching, etc that shows where they worked. There is a line on the back of the cab, but could be difference in paint where chop was made. The mirror is a small oval, doesn't look like it was cut in PS. Reflections in wheels look ok to me, but could be wrong. Like I said above -- if it was photochopped I want to learn from the wizard who did it!
you all are so enteraining, to see how much effort you put into unveiling a photochop rather than working on your own cars, HA!!!!!!!!!! You really honestly can't tell for most of the reasons you've tried to pick out, because they are wrong, but if you do come by 132 byron st. vallejo, CA you will see this truck chopped 7 inches, just not welded on yet, and I will take a real picture of that. Thanks for all of your wasted time, suckas.
