I saw a picture of a chopped 4dr 60 chevy in a magazine that a friend of mine had a while back. The car was in an orange primer I think. It was I believe from over seas somewhere like japan or something. I thought it was pretty cool looking but thats the only pic I ever saw of it. Does anyone have any pics of that car or even know what car I'm talking about? I believe it was at an indoor car show I think. I wish I know what magazine it was. Or if someone has any picks of chopped 4dr early 60's GM cars. I'm thinking about chopping my 60 but want to see some pics to get my ideas on how I want to do it.

Because of the shape of the gl***,that is one of the most challenging cars to chop successfully.

You're talking about the 4door sedan, with window posts right? Not the 4 door hardtop with the wrap around back window?

You can chop the sedan 2" without windshield cutting if you just use the shorter hardtop gl***. But that one in Japan was cut much more than 2".

The company that built it is called Borders in Nagoya. The screen for it I believe they had specially made by a local gl*** company. For a couple of other shots see http://www.sun-inet.or.jp/~borders/ then click on "photos" and again on the first lot of white squiggles under "photo Menu".

  9. If I'm not mistaken, it has some flames now. Cool ride. I'll be going to Japan sometime this year...I hope I get to see some of these s****y rods and customs while I'm there!
