Just cut a new windshield for this 64 chev pu last week. the owner bought it from the Seattle area and has very little history. it's been around for some time might have been red. had a electical fire and shows alot of rust pits. in the last month he had a shop try to cut 7 windshields. then brought it to me. it has a very nice chop and even with the welds all showing I couldn't figure out how they got everything to fit so well. I took 3 1/2 inches off the top. another 1 1/2 off the bottom corners and 1 3/4 off each side. that last number baffles me. I've cut 100's of windshields in the last 45 years and never narrowed one 3 1/2 inches anyway it's done and on the road. should be at beaches soon. if you have any knowledge of the truck I'd be interested
I'm not smart enough to try every method under the sun, I do it the old school way. a glass cutter, pair of pliers, a can of 3 and 1 oil. plus two hands and 45 years in the glass business here's a 53 ford I did for Billet proof a couple weeks ago
