Set it in a bead of urethane

My gl*** guy has little rubber blocks of different widths and heights to hold the gl*** off the metal and keep it centered

Get the stock seals. Make an aluminum wire template of the opening, TIG wire works well. Once you like it cut the seal to match. There's a Loc***e super glue specific for the job of gluing it back together but I forget the number. I use it for Packard windshield seals that have to be cut and mitered into 1 pc. I'll see if I have some of the glue and give you the number. This way you'll have a chopped window that lives like the OG.

  6. It was a slider type setup so both sides had the felt

Look at other old cars, or even commercial, agriculture, and RV vehicles to see if you can find something you think may work. Then look at those types of suppliers or the MANY universal profiles that companies like Steele have available and try to match it up. You could also glue the gl*** in like mentioned earlier but use a small universal T or Y shaped molding to finish it off.

So it's whiskers on both sides? That's easier yet. Still use the template for the shape. Cut a plywood template of the shape and bend straight whisker material to the shape. Some use really small screws, there's clamp-on style clips available too if they were held that way. Doing whiskers is a little bit of a ****, but with rubber backing they indeed seal. Maybe a pic or 3? We like pictures. Stock and what you have? Maybe?

  9. Thank you I was debating on using them like is said the car original had slider rear gl*** but with the chop that's not happening no more
