chopped/hardtopped/couped '60s fullsizers- what ya got?

    ive got a '64 pontiac parisienne sedan, with a smashed rear screen. its gunna cost me £500 to get one over here, so im thinking i might take this opportunity to take my car to the next level and chop it 3 inches or so(raking the front screen), and go for a shorter, laid down rear screen from a different donor.

    sooo, lets see some chopped mid 60s stuff!!

    Anyone got better pic of the purp pontiac? I love chopped 60's cars just cause ya dont see too many esp ones taht look good.

    Here's a couple I found in a different thread. I dunno, something about a chopped top on these cars doesn't look right to me..... The red one should have the same roofline as your car, so it should be a good indication of what it would look like chopped.

    i agree, its because theyre usually over-chopped. subtlety is the key here. i think 3-4" is the limit, and the HAVE to be pillarless, and have to have a flat-ish rear screen laid down like on the olds above. the non-pillarless red car with the stock-style rear window just doesnt work.
