chopped radiator for a chopped top???

    i have a 1936 Ford with a fORD 289 IM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A RADIATOR AND SINCE IT LOOKS LIKE THE NOSE IS SITTING HIGH IF I COULD GET A SHORTER RADIATOR LOWERING THE NOSE AND STILL HAVE BODY LINES

    If you can't find one, you can probably have one custom built (its only more money, right?), but then the question becomes, "Will it keep the motor cool enough on those hot days?"

    Since the radiator plays an integral role in correct positioning of most of the front body parts (grille, fender extensions, fenders, hood), I used a Johnson's Radiator on my '36 Ford Touring Sedan. They bought Walker Radiator Works a few years back, and are using all Walker's machines and techniques to create dimensionaly correct radiators with all the correct mounting points, making it easier to get the front body parts to align correctly.
