Very interesting thread, I always defend four door rides, they can't help they were born that way. It takes big cahoneys to chop one. I usually think of them as cruzers as they came. Salute to all you ultra brave folks. ~sololobo~

 

Save the more doors! I get sick of other people saying they aren't cool! This all proves it!!

 

here's a picture of a 4 door buick i took at a show in eastern pa. a couple of years ago. perfect chop. there were other cars parked to close to get a good profile shot. way to many people get hung up on the whole 4 door thing, either a cars built right or it's not.

 

Makes me want a chopped moore door!

To everyone that is wondering if i lost sleep over selling my fleetline, i sold it buy this back. This was my fathers back in 2000 and i had a chance to get it back in 2011. There was nothing to think about so the fleetline was gone. If the chance never came up to get the merc back i would never had sold the fleetline!

i agree! my family has had a couple 4 door hot rods and they were cool! I i just got my first car witch is a 4 door 49 too

Mike, that looks like it was taken at the Violators show a few years back. I first saw that car up in Quakertown at one of the Modifiers show. This is the one that made me want to chop my Buick. The chop is nice. The only thing I would change would be the back window.

 

Man , I hate chopped more doors...
