I'm looking forward to seeing the car covered in one color, even just the primer. I think that'll be the true test of how the proportions turned out. Very cool job on your ride by the way, you won't have anyone saying, "I had one of those"!:D Keep on keepin' on.

    1) I don't like Chevies, no how, never.
    2) metal work does look rough compared to some.
    3) never been too impressed by customs, not even done by so-called "greats".
    4) I think you've done awsome, I like it, like that you had the nerve to do it.
    5) congradulations, if some don't like it they can build their own.

Wow, I hate it and I love it. To me the proportions look funny, but I think that's what I like about it. Hard to say. What sold me on it is the pic next to the stocker. It looks like frankenstien!! Very cool regardless of others opinions. I think had you tried to seek advice on here before the build, you would have been set on fire by the haters, so better to build first then show!! Good job and with more builds come more skills. Keep on truckin!!

man, screw the nay-sayers. That thing is badass. A bodymans worst nightmare, but badass!

Once the roof gets evened out, and everything gets a coat of paint, it'll be tits. Just remember what my ol man said...

Love it man!!! The Dudes that have nothing good to say are usually the ones that couldn't burn, cut, or weld one piece of metal and probably paid someone to build their Rod.

    Ruining another one?

From what i see, he took a car destined to be made a toaster, and made a running, driving car that makes him happy.

If thats your opinion of ruining a car, then everyone on this board has ruined cars.

What else would you do with a rustbucket more door? Restore it?

    For fucks sake.

i bought it off a guy who was planning on selling it for scrap metal. pretty much think that if nobody in the world wants it, then i can do whatever the fuck i want to it.

and my 53 that i have " ruined " sat on ebay for over a month before i bought it because the frame was so rusty it wouldnt roll up on a trailer.

    plus their MY cars...

    It's big, kinda ugly, strange.
    I like it.
Especially can't wait to see your next one. I'm sure you learned a lot on this build that you will be able to transfer into the next.
Hell, like you said, its YOUR car. As long as you dig it, nothing else really matters (as long as it's safe to be on the road)

Keep chopin, grindin, weldin, buildin, and learning!

Southpark, don't pay any attention to the whiners! Taking an old unwanted car that is either unpopular due to #of doors, drab style or damage from a wreck and making something out of it is a feat in itself! The fact that you are driving this creation makes it even better! These negative comments posted here need to be taken as just what they are, whining from people who can't see beyond what you've created. I'm sure that if you work at improving your skills, and continue to take on projects of this calliber, you can't help but learn!
I only wish I could lend you a hand, and help speed that process to a successful conclusion.
Good luck on your continuing progress!
