Try your local gl*** shop they should be able to do it..just take a cardboard template of the gl***..shouldn't be hard since it's flat gl***..

Yes , like the last one said , flat gl*** is cheap and any good gl*** shop can cut them for you . Just make sure your pattern is accurate and also tell the gl*** shop if your pattern is with or with out the rubber gasket that holds the gl*** in place .

I think he means the steel frame around the gl***.If so you find replacements or use the ones you have.Cut them down ,reshape ,weld and fit. It is something that takes time and patients. You must get the swivel pins in the right location to work correctly.

I just redid mine on my 51' Chevy and i took a million pics of the process, from dis***embling to finished with gl***.......With very minimal cutting! I have never done tech week, so i i'm saving it for the next one!!!:(

    Hopefully soon!!!!!:(

Only advice...... Take your time, leave yourself room for new rubber, which is pretty thick, and make some templates!!! DO NO EYEBALL IT!!

I have done a few and i can tell you they are time consuming to do them right. The new rubber seal and U channel's are not cheap and then you still need new gl*** and the polishing of the stainless steel or chrome plating. If interested i can do them. Rick Erickson
