Finally my Triumph Chopper is making progress. Here are two pics. The first is a shot when I went to pick it up. Looks pretty bad, but at the whopping price of 200 bucks.. The tank was a "King Sportster" with "Beetle's Bandit" airbrushed over the ****py flame job. Dig the King and Queen seat and the fog light used as a headlight. Oh the humanity! But even still, thats a 650 Bonnie motor thats complete and a frame and bolt on hard tail..
Since that second photo I've obtained a few more parts. Found a '63 Pre-Unit back fender (NOS) In the box for 90 bucks. It looks great. I may just leave it "un-bobbed" because its so perfect. Reminds me alot of an old Ford spare tire cover but with more sidewall coverage. Fits around that fat whitewall very nicely. I'm just happy I found a local guy that has tons of stuff in his garage. Still workin' on it though... When all the parts are home, then it goes together in a weekend. Just like on TV! Spike
Single- Sorry about that man, thats the way it is here. Trying to keep things a little above board.. Spike
Im really digging that chick ... Can i have the un edited virsion please???? just for my PC background steve-
Hey hotrod, now that is going to be a nice ride. And it is a REAL chopper. Not a catalog snap together that some try and p*** off as choppers. I need to learn how to post on here so that I can post some pics of my Harley, and the trumps that me and some friends are building. Nice ride man! The bike is pretty cool as well..
Here is my project, somewhat one piece at a time. not really going for the chopped look, more for the bobber look
uh forgot the link http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=275391&Forum=All_Forums&Words=bobber&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=1month&Main=275391&Search=true#Post275391
I dont think I've posted a message here in over a year or so. Maybe two. Didnt think it was right since I sold my car and all but since you're on the subject of bikes, thought I'd chime in: I should have the motor back in a couple of weeks, which is a '47 Knuckle.
Screw the bike and gimme the girl or is it screw the girl and gimme the bike... oh I'm so confused . Looks like a good start spike. I kinda like that flame job. I think us PA Hamber's ought to have a east coast garage clean up for spike, lol. Just bustin ya. later plmczy
hotrodphotos - you got that bike for $200! You scored! Not many deals like that around anymore. People are starting to ask 1,500 for a basket that's been sitting around for 20 years... I'd like to check out more flicks if you got some...
Some nice work there. You ever down York way. I got a couple in the works myself. Hitch up and take a ride. And I have to agree, wats with the censorship.
paul yaffee orginal, looks like every other paul yaffee original, not a bash just a insight. it will still be a blast to ride down the road. Bones
