The Gooch mentioned it a while ago. He said the brakes went out and the guy had to put it into a wall. He wasn't hurt bad, but the car was.

Maybe he will chime in with more details.

maybe he should put the wheels above the roof, that kinda positioning could reflect a JAMES BOND handling to AIRPLANE out of Those kind of situations,,,,

Yup That's Vern's from the Choppers..He was driving and he slammed on his brakes and they gave out and he slammed into a pole...I saw him
in vegas after it happend and he had big cut on his head ..but he was ok as for the car..He says its ****ed but it can be rebuilt...he's looking for a new frame at the moment..But he's a Chopper and they get there hands on all the good stuff so I'm sure it will be on the road soon...

  9. Saw him right after and he was cut up pretty good. Very lucky it wasn't much worse. The car is totally wiped out, but he will rebuild it.

Yup it's Verne Hammond's. I talked to him at VLV, he's alright but the car's frame's tweaked beyond repair.
I gotta put an e-brake on my '34, this kinda thing can and does happen.
Verne's a sweetheart too, one of the nicest most down to earth fellas I've ever met.

Man I love that car. I love the chop and the stance. Everyone is always tryin to go lower than the other one. I am real sorry to here about the crash though. Hope Vern and the coupe get back on the road.
