Chopping '39 ford coupe?

One word....Don't, many have tried very very few have done it well

 

I never did like the AMC Pacer look. Chop it.

 

Finally! a chopped 39/40 where the quarter window doesn't look lost like a belly button on a fat guy.

 

I am a member of the no need to chop a 39/40 coupe club but I like the look of your chop and compliment you on your skills. Thanks for sharing your project with us Marshall. I hope I get to see this car in person in the near future.

 

That is one of the best looking chops I have seen on one of these cars. The quarter window still looks a little off to me. Sorry.

Nice, nice, nice! Perfect example of the fact that, done right, a tasteful chop is a definite improvement on an already beautiful body style. The nay sayers can pound sand, this car is done right and looks great!!

 

I think they all need the drip rail to hold it all together. This one looks great!
