  1. Are you getting new windows made? If you don't mind me asking it'd be cool to get an idea of what that cost.

I'm going to cut the glass myself, gonna try the blast cabinet method. But I'm still looking for some one with the rubber and glue for it for the rubber. I ended up keeping the drip rails what I di was actually welded in a piece of round bar and gave them like a ramp look I looks really god with the way the quarters mold in to the body line and sails panels also.

Just found someone posted my car on here with all the cars I studied over and over. It feels good when your hard work gets noticed.

Graceful chop on what is a pretty clumsy looking car to start with. Completely changes the character of the coupe. Good eye! I used to have a '48 Dodge coupe, which I never really "connected with", so I'm glad to see them getting some attention. I'd probably like mine better now…

You are moving along at a good pace. Frenching the headlights is a lot more work than it appears when you start. Rear pan looks good.

Working on my grill opening today trying to get a feel for what I want to do with it. Started by bending up lots of tube in different ways till I was happy.
Ended up rolling the tube with the entire front end and kept the peak from the hood and it will end towards the bottom of the surround I made. Will have more tomorrow.

  23. Opening Kinda has a resemblance to Olds or Pontiac.......to me.

I personally like the original grille as it goes with the peak, or point, of
the hood. You could do some mods as you mentioned earlier.

The new opening also flows with the hood and comes to a peak. I'll try to get a better shot. Thanks for you input

Getting the glass laid out and cut before paint making sure I don't need any adjustments. Cutting my stock stuff as templates for new stuff. Think bout maybe a bronze toned glass. What you guys think?

Are you going to put the car back in the original color it was before it was chopped? What exactly is that, by the way, hard to discern via the internet? If so, then yes, I would think the bronze toned glass would look great.
