[IMG]well here she is so far. I've Been working on this chop since saturday night. I went into this chop a lot different than when I was chopping my 53 chevy. I took 5 inches out of the front and 7 out of the back. The "B" pillar was relocated and lined up vertical, I feel sorry for people who will have to ride in the back seat... I hope you guys like it, I have many more pics to post today. Let me know if you want any close up pics of any part of the car.

I'll chop it for 1500 bucks. 500 down and I'll work with you on the rest. If your gl*** is good I can cut it. I'll get a side shot today. I gotta push the old girl outside to get a good one.

I'm looking to maybe shave the handles. The back doors open and shut just fine. The rear windows will work just fine after I get some gl*** cut.

I am no expert to be sure but I do like the chop. More doors are not easy to get right but I think this is a great start ....

If I may put out something to get some further creative juices flowing, I think that if the hump in the trunk lid is taken out to accentuate the lines of the chop, the car lowered as you said, whites, and perhaps some extended taillights of some kind or the stock taillights area leaned back flowing like the chop, again helping your eye follow the lines, it will all work together really nicely.

I think if the rear window was elongated to fit the door, so it was long low and sleek (like the rest of the car) it would flow much better. Just my $.02

the back window looks too laid down for my taste, and now you deffently have to pancake the trunk.

well its a 4 door alright they are hard to do, also these chevys look pretty tough to do alot of people mess up on em, personally i think the back window is layed down too much, also i really dont like upside down shoebox windows. there is gunna be a funny line behind the gl*** for where the rear door opens up, u should consider welding up the back door, or if u can do it put 2 door doors on it and convert it to a 2 door. orrr u can extend the doortops to where they are supposed to be at the end of the door and keep the doors functional.
i have been warning and telling alot of people when they chop these cars to make sure the BELTLINE looks factory around the rear window, on yours the beltline is just gunna come to a hard stop to nothing. and to me back window placement and beltline molding can make or break a chop on 49-54 chevys. thats my personal opinion boy do i feel like an ***hole

I'm pretty set on the back door the way it is. the owner told me to make it a radical chop, I went a little less than I originally thought I would. I'm building this car in under two weeks. so belive me, there are some things I'd like to do but can't at this moment. but I'm really liking the input on this car and wanna say thanks for checking it out and giving me your opinions. keep them coming please!

i think if the rear window was elongated and the car was lowered it would look heaps better.
