Technical Chopping Model A's.

Thanks for all of the photos and help hot rodders! I am extra informed on how to do it now.

 

My Coupe that Derrick Pesko (Allstar Hotrods) chopped at the Silver city Shakedown that our club The Others put on Sold it to a guy named Ted who had Derrick finish it for him

If you are doing a 28-29, you can unbolt the visor and cut your section out of the top of the A-pillars so you dont have to pie cut to get the taper even

 

Just a thought for aesthetics your back window shouldnt be taller than your front screen. Would suggest cutting the top 4 inches, rest the top back on then stand well back and make sure you are happy with it. We all have different tastes but for coupes I reckon 4 isnt enough and 5 is better. But its your car....

 

Well, we were going to cut it out and cut it down to 7 inches, and then the front windshield is going to be 8.5 inches, so the windshield is still bigger then the back window, and I didn't want to chop it more then 4 because while slammed cars are rad, it's 1: My first car and 2: I would like to see out of it, and if I decide to chop it more, it's easier to remove material then add it.
