DUDE.... It will take an hour to fix it and make it CORRECT now or you can fight with it till you sell the car. Read my signature line. Just my opinion.

perfect chop.....one of the better proportioned ones ive seen,,really

  7. Am I all alone in wondering why you would chop the top before you make the body straight? Do you plan to make this Chevy a nice shiny custom? The chop flows pretty well. But when I see the unlowered, rusty body, I dunno, it strikes me oddly... Since we looked at the work, how 'bout telling us what it'll look like when you finish?

It will be shiny black just give me 60 days. The car is on blocks. Mustang 2 and 4 link in the back finished with a large v8 runs and drives.
All i need to do is finish the airbags. Its only surface rust under the trim.

I do all the metal work first then body work and paint top to bottom how do you do it? chill phil

I'm partial to Molson Ice, but that's mostly because buying it helps keep my paycheck coming...

Id love readin posts like a DIY chop all day long! Chili Phil, since you seem to have all the answers on "how to", how come that Olds you have hasn't gotten any better in years? :D :D

Dude, kickass work, I will say with the quality of your work you will hate teh b pillar later, its noticable in pics, hope you consider fixing it before paint. Keep the posts coming, the proportions on this chop really rock. Going to be an insane custom man!

The b pilars in the new pics are straight i brought them back.
The glass is larger in the bottom, and taper up in the stock position. With the fish eye lens the car may be stretched in the pics.
I built my whole car from reading the hamb. Thanks all for posting! Sorry for posting Southpark, you truly are a genius i wish i had your job.lol

I will post in May, with the car fully finished with working side windows

    later haters lol

I've just re-read this thread again and I like what you've done.
    It's time for some updates

  28. You might be alone! building a custom I like to start with the big parts first. then do all the finish work at one time. makes more sense to me.
