after reading the post in the cl***ified section and looking over all this cat has for sale. It looks like the only thing he has to offer around these parts are used cars and complaints?
Isnt there some type of limit to the adds you can post and BTTT every 1/2 hour?
A little feedback couldnt hurt [IMG]

  4. Aw give the kid a break, at least he ain't sellin crack (I don't think).

It's Ryan's call but I wouldn't be opposed to making a token payment after a given amount of ads.

Or perhaps give a percentage of the take on an item that sells. Then of course we have to have the obsolete parts police to make sure I pay.[IMG]

Seriously, if it helps a fellow HAMBer find a car or a part, and he keeps the prices on the 'low side', then, OK.
It's kinda hard not to ENVY his stash, though....my 2 cents

on every want add I place I state the price and say that I will give the board(Ryan) a stated amount the only problem is I have not sold or bought any thing. Thanks Ryan for the use of the board.

No, it's not a used car lot called Chris The Kid but it's a business called Hilltop Cl***ics. I pulled the name off his e-mail address in his intro.

Hey says he's 27 years old here but that Hilltop Cl***ics website says he's been doing this for 36 years. Maybe he's selling off his old man's stash!

  12. I lurked here for a while before I jumped into the mess and you can tell who is on the up and up. I have sent parts before cash was sent to me. T-man scored a 348 tri-power manifold from me and he paid when he could. He never asked and I never offered...just did it! What the hell...worst thing that could've happened was he coulda got a free manifold and I had one less thing laying in the garage for me to trip over! He seemed honest enough and like I said I lurked for almost a year before I did this (tripped over that thing for 2 years).
That being said...I'll gladly pay somebody cash (when I get some) for a pair of of 15x8 Chrome Rims with a small Ford bolt pattern (4 1/2") I do not want a set of multi-pattern smoothies! [IMG] [IMG]

been burned a couple of times on free parts, never got postage as agreed. but other times got way more than bargained for. haven't sold anything but have bought and never been burned and at times parts were here before money left my pocket. not to mention the FREE stuff that has also shown up totally unsolicited. its always a gamble dealing on the web so far the plusses are ahead for me, have also been and have warned off by other Hambers from dealing with certain parties. guess I'll check out Hilltop and see what else is there. 14. Let's give they guy a break.

He's **** star Ron Jeremy, and he spent the money he made as a **** star on cars.

    Just like I did...

OK, I get ugly when I'm jealous, at 27, I had 3 cars, 2 of them were parts cars and the 3rd was a P.O.S.

He has some nice stuff for sale, just started seeing recently, as long as not a long term thing see no harm. I have got burned on a HAMB deal, not the money I never got paid that bothers me but the time I put into gathering parts, setting up HAMB relay, meeting people for relay etc, and knowing that a fellow HAMBer that I was trying to help burned me that left a bad feeling. My fault, too trusting, wanna be everybodys friend. Wont happen again.

  17. I usually BTTP a couple times an let it go,given a decent amount of time in between, his whine is only a simptom of his problem ,money -money,I'm bettin he's not doing so well right now as the market is glutted with "laid off" deals, and no play money out there to be spent on toys.I see no problem with repeating an add if you give say a week between bttps.( I break this occasionally if I need the cash),but there is also a problem with the no edit/deletes after a short time. There are several high and low end dealers here, but they are one of US, with other posts besides buy my ****!
