Well, it got up to 6 above zero today, heat wave, so I took the old Ford out for a drive. Some light snow, wind was calm, pretty much no traffic on the 30 mile gravel road cruise. I drive this car often in winter but usually not when its this cold. It has a manifold heater that works fine when temps are in the low 20's and up, but not so much today. I had trouble with the windshield icing up a bit, so much that it almost took the fun out, but I sang Christmas carols to keep the spirits high. Sing along now, Dashing thru the snow, In a 40 horse Model A, Down the road we go, Laughing all the way ! The old Ford rattles and smokes, Making spirits bright, Oh what fun it is to drive a Model A Ford tonight ! Oh, Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, Oh what fun it is to drive a 40 horse Model A !!!
Too damned cold for me. Mine is resting comfortably in my non-heated garage, holding my new Walmart creeper up.
