It occurred to me this morning that spare batteries for the cordless drill/Sawzall/etc is the perfect gift for some of us. I cringe every time I see the price of the damned things. I've got several that hold a partial charge for about a minute and a half and now my two newest are starting to show deterioration. How 'bout it Santa??

Dream on bub, your gonna have to take a number, and I hold the first three, those elves are gonna be busy here on my three projects for some time.
Guess I'm gonna need to put a lock on my likker cabinet though, word is those little munchkins get real thirsty when they work.
This should benefit your program as you'll have plenty of time to catch up on your polishing.:p
    Merry Christmas y'all.

I have a crazy list of hot rod stuff I would like. But most likely will get a lump of coal. But, I have been so stressed out this year I could probably hold it in my fist and make a diamond.

The only Christmas lists I see have my kids or wife’s names on the top. Although, my oldest son just asked me if he could get truck parts instead of a cell phone for Christmas. That’s like a gift for me too.

I'm looking forward to Christmas as always but this year it will be a little more special , our youngest granddaughter Veda is living with us now so Christmas morning I imagine we will be awaken early.

Like most of you, if we want something we usually get it, gifts under the tree are simple and minimal with us, but now that Veda and both our grown girls are here it's a ot more than normal.

It's funny, someone mentioned rechargeable power tool batteries, that's a the top of my list. HRP

I ordered some parts and they were shipped and delivered but not to my house! Fedex says they were delivered at 10:26 AM, well I'm standing there with my excavating contractor and a friend getting the site ready for the Fedex freight delivery of my generator, well it came at 2:26PM and the Fedex site said my earlier delivery was put at my front door. I explained to them that I was sitting there but the paper work says it was delivered to my front door.

I have kind of got to a point in life where I have everything I need. I would really have to think hard about a list and it would contain practical things and be pretty boring, the kids and grandkids pretty much roll there eyes.

The wife and I really don’t buy for each other unless it is a special surprise. We sometime buy something we both will enjoy. I enjoy the meaning of the season and family time together knowing we have many blessings that you don’t have to look around very hard to see.

I was at Tractor Supply yesterday and saw a guy trying to load a very big and heavy box. I asked if he needed help and then we both made short work of the loading. After he told me how much he appreciated it and wished me a sincere Merry Christmas which was a gift to me.

Coal! Because I'm a grumpy****hole and I really do like old steam machines so I could use it on them.

For me the best Christmas present would be Mr. "H" to contact me and say "Come and get all those jalopy photos of the CJA". It won't happen but I can dream.
