Maybe we could do a group givaway with a couple vendors on the HAMB.

    Anyone interested?

I'd just like a tubing bender and an english wheel. And while both of those would be great, A large enough garage to house them would be even better! But somehow I dont think garages are in the catalog. (If they are, I'll find out next week since I just ordered one today!)

Sounds like some of the guys over on the Club chopper forum. Building choppers in appartments and trailers. Carbs on the counter, tools on the kitchen table where the kids are eating.

    ....very cl***y

Not sure, just seeing how much interest there is. A Cristmas tech contest would be sweet if enough people want to play.

My vote is for one around Christmas time. Not sure how many of you are building durring the winter months though.

Speak up HAMBers! What should we do this time around?

I really could use just about anything you offer. I am serious that I have no real tools and the bead roller would be wonderful!!!!

I know that I personally could use the 3 in 1 , I 'm starting on my Dad's car, even though he works at a bodyshop, he wants me to do the rust repair and bodywork on his ranchero.....yay....Obviously the paint spraying is the payoff for all the work of replacing rust and block sanding....so I'll probably just go ahead and paint it too

.....of course any of your fabrication equipment would be a step up from what's in my shop....... I'm used to cutting metal with hand shears, and bending it with whatever's handy.... knee's , tree's and hammers

I'd love to be in a contest where the average guy with minimal stuff has a shot. Carports, small sheds, basic air tools, welder. That kind of stuff.

I would love that mack-daddy brake, shear and roll. But know that thing has to be pretty pricey. The shrinker stretcher BAIMSS-18 would be a great addition to any garage.

I'd be thrilled with anything you guys offer. Baileigh is super to do this.... & to do it so often.

So what's the contest? Around Christmas, I'd suggest something that keeps the sleigh warm while we keep on cruising through the winter....

Low-buck heated seats, low-buck heaters, ingenious side curtains for a roadster, insulating the cabin, etc.....

Man I would love a bead roller... then I wouldnt have to buy the ready made 19 gauge sheets with three groves in it for $50 bucks for my floor and trunk walls in the 29
How about picking the winter projects that have the most work to be done as far as metal work(I just bought a 29 that would be a contender).....They have to be "winter projects" not just a rust bucket you have in the yard for parts

    Ho ho ho let's go:D

How about if we have a contest where members pick a tech thread that they enjoyed. I would say one that has not already been entered into a tech week or any other tech contest. Say it could only be only 6 months old or it could still be added by a certain dead line date.

We let the members vote and then narrow it down to ten threads and then have another vote to pick the winner.

This is just an idea, just trying to get this contest fired back up.

As for the prizes the bead roller and cold saw would be my choice.

Not sure we are going to be able to get a contest going before Christmas guys. We have another one going on another forum, so when thats over......the HAMB is next in line.

    Stay tuned

Thanks for the support. The HAMB crowd is my favorite forum to deal with. You guys are great. Merry Christmas from the Baileigh crew.

I alway wanted a sheetmetal brake as hand bending is getting tuff on my 63 year old body and I need to get the 35 coupe done someday soon.
