christmass story

Hey I was watching the movie Christmass Story today. My favorite part is when Ralphy beats up the bully. But in the background are a 1928 roadster body and like a 1930 Sedan. My wife hates it, because I rewind it every time. Merry Christmass Hamber's!

 

i saw that last night and wondered what year car body that was. i thought to myself i bet someone on the hamb knows! sure enough...

the question i always had was; if that movie take place in the 50's, was there really 20yr old car bodies just laying around like that? hell mthat would be like seeing an early 90's car just laying behind someones shop

 

I think it was supposed to tkae place in the depression era , like the early to mid '40's....
