Chrome grill on my 51 chevy

I just had bolth my bumpers done for $360 total from this place in Southern CA ( I live in Norther CA) and so I assumed i would call them up and send my grill down as well for some where around the same price and turns out he wants $500 bucks to do the grill. Is this highway robbery or is that "fare". what do you think?

 

500 is getting off easy.

a top notch chrome shop will run you 1200 bucks.

Man it must be nice living in Cali. I spent about $600 on just the center tooth of my '56 Olds's grill. Sounds good to me

 

I got almost tripple that in my 51 Grill!!!!!! 500 is a deal!!! but you get what you pay for in chrome!

 

its a deal,...and post pictures, hope the chrome comes out good for being so cheap.

 

yeah i figured it wasn't terrible but isnt that weird that the bumpers where less idk just sounds funny to me.. the bumpers where great too and im not trying to break the bank on chrome its going to be my daily driver anyway. although i would like it as nice as i can get
