Love the hardtop. Reminds me of my brothers 57 hardtop he had back in 1968, Harbor Blue with chrome reverse rims. $125 in 60 is like a grand today.

A pickup we just finished at work.. not true reverse but still looks cool! Spiders and trim rings give it a bit more depth!

Yup, one of my pet peeves.. I can even go along with guys calling a chrome O.E.M. Wheel a "chrome reverse" but not smoothies...

I don't know who decided on that definition, but I think it's BS. Chrome is chrome, reversed is reversed, and a smoothie can be both. I don't like smoothies either, but the words "chrome" and "reversed" are generic.

I think that Stockton Wheel is closed the owner died (self inflicked). I have 4 - 8"x 16" chrome rims with Goodyear Eagle P225/60 R16 tires less than 500 miles on them, they had 51 hub caps on them. $300. for rims and tires..PM me if interested

  13. ^^^ Stockton is back in business, they were barely even closed during that.

I refer to mine as chrome steelies so that nit pickers don't roll their eyes at me. :D ;)

I have two like that- I think they're 60's accessory wheels, the center has vents and lug pressings like Ford, but there's a subtle ridge around the edge of the lug depression. I'll use 'em on something...

Yeah, I have a full set of what I think are the same thing. Mine were a Craigslist score. They will go back on my F1 later this year.

  25. Don't have time to read all the posts. I'm at work.
Who sells a GOOD, high quality chrome reverse wheel now?
Hell every auto store had them 30 years ago. Now I can't find them.
    Looking for 15"

Not authintic "reversed" but summit offers Wheel Vintiques chrome steelies in many different sizes, depths and back spacing for about $120 each. I got a pair of 14x7 with 3" b/s and they look nice!!

These are from Summit. I have a set on my 49 Olds and a set for my 32 5W coupe.
Reasonably priced and look great. Front on Olds is 15 x 5.
