Take some pics & pm them to Josh...like cheezwiz said, he'll give you an evaluation of what you've got. His chrome work looks slicker than greased snot (check out the work he's doing on the full-tilt kaiser here on the HAMB) & he seems easy enough to work with. I'll be sending a bunch of diecast his way soon.
I've been using S&H Chrome Plating and powder coating for all the chrome crap on my 49 and they are the shit! Awesome quality and decent pricing....People are wicked easy to deal with and turn around is great....I was expecting about a $200 price tag and a few weeks turn around for a bunch of engine brackets and got a $70 price tag ($80 with shipping) and 7 business days to my door....and the quality is awesome. They didnt charge me a set up fee (or whatever its called) and threw it in with a batch they already had going in.... I'm building another box of stuff to send em as we speak (soon as it gets large enough) Here's their contact info S&H Chrome Plating 817 Madison Industrial Rd. Madison, Tn. 37115 (615) 865-0100
Some of the chrome prices i see from US chrome shops are just plain mental, It would appear getting chrome done is cheaper in England As a guide my chromer just done all the garnish mouldings in my mates 57 wagon (there is a lot of them) for £720 which is $1106 and they are beautiful.
If you dont mind shipping stuff to cali, stockton chrome has always done really good for me not to bad on turn around time either! Just a thought
