I have been looking for a set of 15" 6-lug steel wheels to fit my '29 Chevy. I found a fellow willing to trade a set for my original 20" wheels. While sitting on the can, looking through a Summit catalog, I saw some advertised for Chevy trucks (same bolt pattern). The chrome steelies are actually cheaper than the painted ones (tight budget here!) I have a nice set of Coker "wide whites" I plan on installing on the rims. Would this combo work with chrome wheels? I'd rather save my 20" wheels than trade them! Anybody have any pics of "wide whites" on chrome wheels?

The ones Summit and the others sell are smoothies, not factory wheels. No big deal if that doesn't matter to you. I prefer the chrome factory wheels personally, but six lug versions are few and far between. I got lucky and found two, still looking for two more.

Wheelkid (rally america) on here can make you some for a decent price if you decide you want factory chrome wheels rather than the smoothies. Quality will be better than the Summit wheels BY FAR!

Anyway, here's my six lug chrome factory reversed wheels...

Cool look. Go for it, and if you don't like the chrome, paint them.
Good luck, and yes I would keep your original wheels too !

  14. Here's mine with and without moons. Need to widen the whites which will be easy with brush and killz. I'm bi-polar so I really don't know what I want. If you wear moons around here they think you're from the border. Thinking about some spiders but I'm sure I'll change my mindless.
