chroming in ohio

    hey guys and gals i just got the screwing of a life time on some chrome parts that i was having done here in ohio. the name of the company is Just Chrome It. the parts were supose to be done here in columbus but had to be sent to the east coast for reasons unknown. the parts were sent to this guy in march and told me they would be done at the end of the month. well now it may 15, i just called him today and said it would be another 3 months. nopt to mention he does not keep in contact with me nor does he tell me whats really goin on. thats were yalls come in i need help finding a good chrome shop here in ohio. also if any one around needs chrome done DO NOT USE JUST CHROME IT..... you will get screwed over and lose ur money i have lost $398.96 to this guy and still have not gotten my parts back.

    You should threaten to take him to small claims court--call the BBB--that's ridiculous. Did he offer any explanation why he sent them out of town? What kind of parts are they?
    If you let me know where is he in Columbus I could go see him on your behalf, see what he says to a warm body in front of him...and no, I'm not offering to break his kneecaps or nothing, just to go talk to him.

    I used Grafton Custom Chrome Plating in Grafton, Ohio. Different grades of chrome for different "Quality" look. Non show or premium plateing was still better than most. Got the referal from a friend who restors Bi-Planes with Chrome Props. Good turn around time and fair price, at least thought so. Found a couple other places in Ohio, even one just down the street, but everyone I talked to said " Cheap and crappy plating". Avoid H&R plating like the plague.
